Game 5 - "Oliver's Twist"

GAME 5 - Braves 5, Dodgers 4
Don Drysdale vs Warren Spahn
Once more the Braves relied on some clutch hitting and some home cookin' to win their third straight over the Dodgers in a series where the home team kept holding serve.  Spahn was pedestrian at best (9 IP / 4 ER), but he was a step better than his HOF contemporary Drysdale.  "Big D" was victimized by Gene Oliver and the long ball.  Oliver had 2 homers in a 3 for 4 day and knocked in 4.  Junior Gilliam knocked in 2 as did Drysdale for the Dodgers who came up short.  A single by the light hitting Dillard scored Aaron, who swiped 2 more bases, for the winning run.
Braves lead series 3-2
